WINCHESTER CENTURY OF LEADERSHIP 1866-1966 MODEL 66 HENRY RIFLE WATCH FOB

This is a 1966 Winchester watch fob. The fob front has the Winchester Horse & Rider and at the bottom it has printed Winchester. The back has "Century of Leadership 1986-1966 Winchester Model 66 Henry Rifle" in raised letters. It measures 1 3/4 inches (43mm) tall and is about 1 3/4 inches (43mm) wide. It does have some light wear.  Nice fob for the Winchester or watch fob collector.

Fobs were worn with a pocket watch or possibly at times a compass which fit into your tight jeans "watch pocket" or vest "watch pocket", the fob was attached to a tiny leather belt type strap on one end and the pocket watch on the other end, this helped pull the watch from the tiny pocket.  Fob hung outside the pocket and many times advertised a product and was given away usually in advertisement of the product.
